IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management) is the credentialing association which provides certifications to Central Service and Sterile Processing professionals.

Central Service Technical Training   Enroll for Online   Enroll for Correspondence

Prepare yourself for the IAHCSMM Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification exam. This self-study course allows students to work through the course at their own pace while going through the 8th Edition of the Central Service Technical Training Manual and Workbook. The online course provides extra videos, quizzes and training material to help you prepare for the IACHSMM CRCST exam. Students have up to one full year to complete the course which includes the required six Progress Tests and the Final Exam, however it is possible for the student to complete the course earlier. **


Central Service Leadership Course   Enroll Now

Prepare yourself for the IAHCSMM Certification in Healthcare Leadership (CHL) exam. This course leads central service professionals through the Central Service Leadership Manual and Workbook to prepare them for a leadership position in the central service field.


Self-Study Lessons

For current CRCST professionals, six new self-study lessons are published annually by IAHCSMM to help you maintain your certification. These lessons provide ongoing education to keep you up-to-date on the latest information in central service. Each lesson features an article exploring a practical, central service-related topic and an exam. Lessons are provided free on the Purdue website and in the IAHCSMM Communique magazine and are valid for three years after the publication date.

* 2-Step Payment Plan – CRCST Preparation Course

Step 1: Enroll in the Correspondence course

Select the Installment Plan (50%) enrollment option based on your location. We will ship your course materials as soon as your payment is processed. You are welcome to begin studying the materials upon receipt; however, we will not accept any lessons until you are officially enrolled in the course (Step 2). You have six months from the date you purchase your course materials to pay the second installment of $245 and officially enroll in the course. At that time, you will select a delivery option, online or correspondence.

Step 2: Final payment.

You will have one year from the date of your official enrollment (second payment) to complete the course and take the final exam. If your second payment is not received within the six month time frame, the offer expires and the materials are yours to keep. After the six month expiration, you must pay the $315 re-enrollment fee. All checks must be in U. S. funds and drawn on a U. S. bank for orders by mail.

400 Hours

** Purdue University is unable to assist students in obtaining IAHCSMM's certification requirement of 400 hours of hands on training. The student will be responsible for setting up and obtaining that training on their own. If you have further questions or concerns, please visit the IAHCSMM's website at www.iahcsmm.org to locate a Chapter in your area. The Chapter may be able to assist you with this requirement.

Refunds

100% refund within thirty (30) days if not satisfied. Does not include shipping and handling, and materials must be returned in new condition.

NOTE: Our basic UPS shipping rates DO NOT include Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. We offer UPS Ground shipping to AK, HI, and PR. These areas require an additional shipping charge, and you must contact us for rates. If we don't hear from you, we will contact you with the actual shipping charges for approval if you are from one of these areas.

International Payments

International checks are only accepted in amounts greater than $300. Payments due to Purdue University less than $300 must be paid by credit card or checks drawn from an American Bank. For any individual in those countries who needs to purchase an extension, they will need to either call in a credit card, or use the website.
